Chase Ink Offers $100 Cash Back Cards
A small business could benefit from a credit card, primarily to help organize purchases — and for the cash rewards. However, finding the right card can be tricky.
We like Chase’s line of small business cards known as Ink, which offer businesses good rewards and perks.
All four Chase Ink cards also include a $100 cash-back bonus after making just one purchase and cash back or points on purchases.
All but Ink Bold with Ultimate Rewards include 0% introductory APR for six months and a variable 13.24% to 19.24% APR (prime rate plus 9.99% to 15.99%) after that.
But which small business card is right for you?
Ink Cash Business. This Chase Ink card offers 3% cash back on all fuel, home improvement, dining and office supply purchases, up to $2,000 spent each month. You earn 1% cash back on all other purchases.
The standard Chase Ink business card carries no annual fee. If you have a small business that doesn’t spend much, this is definitely the card for you.
Ink Plus with Ultimate Rewards. This card includes a bit more in bonuses, but at a price. Cardholders will have access to a much larger credit line, as well as 10,000 bonus points after spending $50,000 annually and 15,000 additional bonus points after spending $100,000 annually.
You earn 1 point for every dollar spent on all purchases (which equates to 1% cash back). There is a $60 annual fee, which is waived during the first year.
Ink with Ultimate Rewards. This card also provides the benefits of a small business card without an annual fee, but you get a slightly reduced rewards program.
Cardholders earn 1% cash back on all purchases, with the opportunity to earn bonuses on travel and select merchant purchases when you shop through Chase Ultimate Rewards.
Ink Bold with Ultimate Rewards. The gold standard of all small business cards, the Ink Bold with Ultimate Rewards is not a credit card but a charge card. This means that payments are due in full every month.
Included with this card is 1% cash back on all purchases, as well as the following:
- 7,500 bonus points after spending $25,000 in a year
- 15,000 additional bonus points after spending $50,000
- 25,000 additional bonus points after spending $100,000
The most expensive of the Chase Ink products, Ink Bold with Ultimate Rewards has a $95 annual fee, waived for the first year.
